Plug Valve

Plug valve is a necessary part in cementing and fracturing operation in oil and mining fields as well as similar high pressure liquid control. It features compact structure,easy maintenance, low torque, quick opening and easy operation that it is the most ideal valve among cementing and fracturing manifolds right now. The plug valve is made as per API 6A Spec.

The plug valve consists of the valve body, plug cap, plug and etc.

The plug valve is available with the union 1502 inlet and outlet preparations (also can be upon customer request). The side segments and the valve are the concentric circles The rubber was inlay in the external face of the side segments to seal the gap between the body and the side segments。

Operating Instructions

Fill the grease between the body and side segments with grease prior to use.

Perform hydrostatic tests prior to use to make sure that no leakage occurs.

Check whether the valve position is in match with the mark and rotate the plug cap 90 degree to see if the plug valve can be operated freely.

Remarks: valve can also be opened or closed easily under 10000psi.

Jelin can provide two types of plug valves: FMC Type Plug Valve(Top entry) and Halliburton Plug Valve(bottom entry).
